Neighborhood Clubhouse

Located at 5502 NW Clubhouse Cove, this clubhouse not only hosts monthly Walnut Creek South Association meeting, but is also available to members to host their private events.  Birthday parties, wedding receptions, graduation parties, reunions, sports team parties, and showers of various kinds occur in this event space.

A spacious facility with a wood dance floor, bar area, couches and chairs, deck overlooking the pool, and plenty of parking; the clubhouse is a fantastic amenity only available for use by members. 

Neighborhood Pool

Adjacent to the clubhouse, this five lane, 25 meter pool hosts both a high and low dive with lots of deck space and lounges for sunbathing. A separate fence enclosed baby pool is available for supervised children under age 8. Pool management and trained lifeguards are on duty to ensure your safety while enjoying the pool. The pool is only available to members and their guests.

The Creekers Swim Team (a youth recreational summer swim team) hosts regular practices and meets outside of regular pool hours. The swim team is open to residents and non-residents. The pool is also available to members outside of regular pool hours for private events.

Multi-Use Court

Located near the Clubhouse and Pool at 5502 NW Clubhouse Cove is a multi-use full-sized court designed for tennis play with surrounding basketball goals. Lights are available for evening use.

Barbecue grill and picnic table are nearby for spectator use.


Children’s playgrounds are available for use near the clubhouse on Clubhouse Cove and in the Walnut Creek Park off Whispering Oaks Lane. Playgrounds are designed to accommodate children of various ages.

Adult supervision is requested for all children enjoying the playground areas.

Shelter House

The Walnut Creek Park near Whispering Oaks Lane includes a 26’ X 26’ shelter house with picnic tables and barbecue grill for use by Walnut Creek members.  The Shelter house is accessed by a concrete walkway from the parking area overlooking the park area.

Although the Shelter House is generally available on a first-come, first-serve basis for members, it may be reserved by members for private picnics and functions. 

Ball Diamonds

Two ball fields are located in the Walnut Creek Park near Whispering Oaks Lane for use by members for individual private functions or sports team practices and games.  

When not in use for organized functions, the ball fields are available to member families for use on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Sand Volleyball Court

The sand volleyball court is located in the Walnut Creek Park next to the Park Shelter House.  The court is available for general member use on a first-come, first-serve basis, but may be reserved by members for private functions. 

Fishing Ponds

Fishing Ponds are located just south of Seminole Drive and east of NW Indian Hills Lane.  These are quiet locations where fish and release by member families is encouraged.  Access to the ponds is through homeowner properties, so respect for neighbors and property is needed.
