Vice President Carol Franklin called to order the regular monthly meeting of the Walnut Creek South Homes Association on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 7:00 P. M. at the Association Clubhouse. Board members in attendance were Carol Arnold, Ed Cayton, Carol Franklin, Carly Rouse, and Kim Wilhoite. Unable to attend were Jay McMinn, Josh Owenby,  and Bryce Palmer.  Also in attendance were Office Manager Angela Ray and residents on the attendance list (Attachment 221013-2). Members were provided with an agenda for the meeting (Attachment 221013-1).

Vice President Carol Franklin welcomed the guests.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Ed Cayton made a motion to accept the September 8, 2022, regular meeting minutes, seconded by Carol Arnold. The motion passed unanimously.

OLD BUSINESS:

Restrictions Privileges Suspension – Kim Wilhoite made a motion to suspend membership privileges on the existing non-compliant homes, seconded by Ed Cayton. The motion passed unanimously. (Attachment 221013-3).

Mike Howell provided updates on the status of the insurance complaint against the fiber contractor who installed the AT&T Fiber.

Mike Howell provided an update on the issue with the sinkhole in the park.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

Retain Same Dues Structure – Kim Wilhoite made a motion to retain the same dues structure for 2023, seconded by Ed Cayton.  The motion passed unanimously.

2023 Assessment letter and Annual letter – Ed Cayton made a motion to accept the, seconded by Carly Rouse.  The motion passed unanimously.  (Attachment 221013-4).

Committee Reports were presented and discussed.

At 7:54 p.m. Kim Wilhoite made a motion that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Ed Cayton. The motion passed unanimously.
