Association Board Meeting
Minutes
2021 June
Vice President Halley Freeman called to order the regular monthly meeting of the Walnut Creek South Homes Association on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at 7:00 P. M. at the Association Clubhouse. Board members in attendance were Carol Arnold, Carol Franklin, Scott Mallory, Josh Owenby, and Carly Rouse. Unable to attend were Jacqueline Maiseroulle, Jay McMinn, and Kim Wilhoite. Also in attendance were Office Manager Angela Ray and residents on the attendance list (Attachment 210610-2). Members were provided with an agenda for the meeting (Attachment 210610-1).
Vice President Halley Freeman welcomed the guests. Resident requests were heard.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Carol Franklin made a motion to accept the May 13, 2021, regular meeting minutes, seconded by Josh Owenby. The motion passed unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS:
Restrictions Privileges Suspension –Carol Franklin made a motion to suspend membership privileges on the existing non-compliant homes, seconded by Scott Mallory. The motion passed unanimously. (Attachment 210610-3).
NEW BUSINESS:
Board Meeting Date Change – Carol Arnold made a motion to July’s board meeting from July 8th to July 7th in order to accommodate the swim team’s use of the pool on the 8th, seconded by Carly Rouse. The motion passed unanimously.
Spillway Gate Posts Repair Capital Expenditure Request – After discussion, Josh Owenby made a motion to approve the capital expenditure request to repair the gate posts at the spillway in the amount of $1,200, seconded by Carol Franklin. The motion passed unanimously.
Flower Bed Project Capital Expenditure Request – This was moved to July’s agenda.
Committee Reports were presented and discussed.
At 8:00 p.m. Carly Rouse made a motion that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Carol Franklin. The motion passed unanimously.
