President Josh Owenby called to order the regular monthly meeting of the Walnut Creek South Homes Association on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 7:00 P. M. at the Association Clubhouse. Board members in attendance were Ed Cayton, Carol Arnold, Josh Owenby, Bryce Palmer, Carly Rouse, and Kim Wilhoite. Unable to attend were Carol Franklin and Jay McMinn. Also in attendance were Office Manager Angela Ray and residents on the attendance list (Attachment 220811-2). Members were provided with an agenda for the meeting (Attachment 220811-1).
President Josh Owenby welcomed the guests and responded to guest concerns.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Ed Cayton made a motion to accept the June 02, 2022, regular meeting minutes, seconded by Bryce Palmer. The motion passed unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS:
Restrictions Privileges Suspension – Carly Rouse made a motion to suspend membership privileges on the existing non-compliant homes, seconded by Ed Cayton. The motion passed unanimously. (Attachment 220811-3).
Mike Howell provided updates on the status of the insurance complaint against the fiber contractor who installed the AT&T Fiber.
NEW BUSINESS:
Special Project: Cleanup of storm debris – Bryce Palmer made a motion to accept the special project expense to have debris from storms on HOA property cleaned up, seconded by Carly Rouse. The motion passed unanimously.
Committee Reports were presented and discussed.
At 7:57 p.m. Kim Wilhoite made a motion that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Bryce Palmer. The motion passed unanimously.
