President Josh Owenby called to order the regular monthly meeting of the Walnut Creek South Homes Association on Thursday, February 09, 2023, at 7:00 P. M. at the Association Clubhouse. Board members in attendance were Ed Cayton, Janette Hale, Summer Hogan, Josh Owenby, Bryce Palmer, and Meghan Robinson. Unable to attend were Carly Rouse, and Kim Wilhoite. Also in attendance were Office Manager Angela Ray and residents on the attendance list (Attachment 230209-2). Members were provided with an agenda for the meeting (Attachment 230209-1).
President Josh Owenby welcomed the guests.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Ed Cayton made a motion to accept the January 2023 meeting minutes, seconded by Bryce Palmer. The motion passed unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS:
Restrictions Privileges Suspension – Meghan Robinson made a motion to suspend membership privileges on the existing non-compliant homes, seconded by Janette Hale. The motion passed unanimously. (Attachment 2300209-3).
Continuation of subsidy for Swim Team – Josh Owenby made a motion to continue the issuance of subsidies for certain residents on the swim team, seconded by Meghan Robinson. The motion passed unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS:
Proposed Platte County Storm Water Grant – Bryce Palmer made a motion to endorse an application to the Platte County Storm Water Grant Committee in regards to Raintree and 58th Terr., seconded by Meghan Robinson. The motion passed unanimously. (Attachment 230209-4)
Proposed special project – Josh Owenby made a motion to approve a special project to update the video system around the pools and grounds, seconded by Janette Hale. The motion passed unanimously.
Committee Reports were presented and discussed.
At 8:00 p.m. Bryce Palmer made a motion that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Meghan Robinson. The motion passed unanimously.
