2021 September
President Jacqueline Maiseroulle called to order the regular monthly meeting of the Walnut Creek South Homes Association on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 7:00 P. M. at the Association Clubhouse. Board members in attendance were Carol Arnold, Carol Franklin, Halley Freeman, Scott Mallory, Jacqueline Maiseroulle, Jay McMinn, Josh Owenby, and Kim Wilhoite. Unable to attend was Carly Rouse. Also in attendance were Office Manager Angela Ray and residents on the attendance list (Attachment 210909-2). Members were provided with an agenda for the meeting (Attachment 210909-1).
President Jacqueline Maiseroulle welcomed the guests. Resident requests were heard.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Jacqueline Maiseroulle made a motion to accept the August 12th, 2021, regular meeting minutes, seconded by Carol Franklin. The motion passed with (1) one abstain.
OLD BUSINESS:
Restrictions Privileges Suspension – Carol Franklin made a motion to suspend membership privileges on the existing non-compliant homes, seconded by Jacqueline Maiseroulle. The motion passed unanimously. (Attachment 210909-3).
NEW BUSINESS:
Grounds Special Project landscaping – Grounds committee presented a special project request for landscaping near the pool. After discussion, Jay McMinn made a motion to accept the project, seconded by Josh Owenby. Motion did not pass with (3) three for and (5) five against.
Grounds Special Project aeration and overseeding – Grounds committee presented a special project request to allow The Lawn and Sprinkler Guys to aerate and reseed Association landscaping. After discussion, Jay McMinn made a motion to accept the project, seconded by Kim Wilhoite. Motion passed unanimously.
Committee Reports were presented and discussed.
At 7:47 p.m. Kim Wilhoite made a motion that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Jay McMinn. The motion passed unanimously.
